Software Engineer
Description:
Work with business clients to research, design, and develop computer software systems,
in conjunction with hardware product development, applying principles and techniques of
computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost
constraints.
Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between
hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
Administer Cisco systems, Windows systems and Linux systems.
Formulate and designs software systems, using scientific analysis and "mathematical
models" to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
Develop and direct software system testing procedures, programming, and
documentation.
Master’s or equivalent in telecommunications or computer science.
Network Engineer
Description:
Build edge router configurations using in-depth understanding of TCP/IP
and OSI Protocols, LAN Routing and Switching.
Provide deployment and configuration of intelligent IT infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, and applications.
Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between
hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
Administer Cisco systems, Windows systems and Linux systems.
Develop database performance metrics to help with capacity planning and reporting.
Manage and maintain database replication, high availability systems
including database Storage Area Networks (SAN) & Clustering.
Provide troubleshooting of issues related to the maintenance and
implementation of servers and storage devices.
Provide status reports to management and have interface with operations,
support staff, vendors and clients.
Master's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related.
